Technical Assistant – Maintenance

To Experience, Entry Level, Willing to Train

To assist with general maintenance, on a variety of CNC, manual and assorted machines related to the manufacture of machined parts.

Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery/equipment

Complete preventative maintenance

Technical aptitude

Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools

Strong dexterity, hand-eye coordination.

Knowledge of Electrical

High School Diploma or equivalent qualifications

Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques

Must be able to follow instructions and to understand basic mechanical directions regarding repairs and maintenance of plant equipment

Assist contractors and subcontractors with repairs or overhauls and with new equipment installations as required.

Fill out daily maintenance log sheet

Preventative maintenance covering all production machinery and other equipment

inspects belts; check fluid levels, replaces filter etc.

Maintaining safety standards in area of responsibility as well as provide direction towards plant-wide safety requirements
