L.K. Automotive Repair in Bright, Ontario is looking for a good mechanic starting @ $33 to 35/hr. Our hours are 8am to 5pm monday to Friday or can leave at 4:30pm with a 1/2hr lunch.

An Automotive Technician must have a comprehensive understanding of automotive engines and systems. Their primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, which could include oil change, brakes, tire rotation/use of tire machine, transmission work/flushes, air conditioner recharges,
  • Conducting diagnostic procedures to identify the cause of automotive issues and make effective and accurate recommendations
  • Conducting necessary repairs and testing vehicles before handing them back to customers
  • Inspecting vehicles/light duty trailers to ensure they meet provincial requirements for safety and annuals
  • Maintaining knowledge of current industry best practices
  • Maintaining paperwork and customer records
  • Ensuring equipment longevity
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
