CNC Lathe Programmer/ Operator – 3 Axis Programmer/ Operator

Axis Tool & Gauge Inc in Cambridge, ON is a dynamic and growing Company specializing in the design and build of Inspection Fixtures for the Automotive Industry.

We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time permanent CNC Lathe Programmer/ Operator and 3 Axis Programmer/ Operator.

Duties Include:

• Operate CNC Lathe to machine parts to specified tolerances.
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure quality.
• Load parts/ raw material, operate controls, hold tolerances and cleaning parts as specified on drawings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job requirements:

• Must be able to program & operate CNC Lathes with sub spindle (DMGMORI -Celos knowledge preferred)
• Cimatron and Fusion 360 experience would be a definite asset.
• Ability to perform set-ups and cutting tool selection.
• Good understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and use of precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain a positive attitude and working relationships when interacting with co-workers.
• Adhere to safe working practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay

Experience:

• CNC Lathe Programmer/ Operator: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Valid License or Certification to work in Canada (required)
