As Patriot Forge Co. forging capabilities continue to grow so too must our workforce. Our Paris, ON facility is currently recruiting for 2 Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Apprentices to join their team.

In this role, as an apprentice, you will grow your skill and knowledge while you

  • Repair, rebuild and perform preventative maintenance on industrial furnaces, presses, saws, and cutting machines,
  • Weld, repair and perform maintenance on hydraulic and mechanical systems, gear boxes, machine tools, gas furnaces and overhead cranes
  • Rebuild hydraulic cylinders and accumulators
  • Respond to breakdowns and diagnose problems

Qualification

  • 3rd or 4th year Apprentice
  • Experience with trouble shooting hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret machine assembly drawings and hydraulic schematics
  • Basic computer skills
  • Desire to want to learn and grow within an organization
