Painters/Apprentices
Job description
Blending craftsmanship with modern artistic inspiration, Chromatist painters is residential painting company based in Toronto, Canada. For over 4 years, we have been trusted by homeowners and building professionals to elevate living environments. We are currently hiring Part-time painters apprentices of all skill levels (entry-level, experienced painters). Reporting to the project supervisor and company owner, you are a tidy, hard-working professional who carries out your work with pride and attention to detail. You are independent and also work well in a team. Salary is based on experience and performance.
What we offer
- Starting pay ranges from $17-$22 per hour (depending on experience). There’s also opportunities for tips, bonuses and other incentives!

- Ability to work in various heights and spaces while observing all safety
- Flexibility to work within the GTA area and access to reliable transportation to get to and from work.
- Must be of legal age and eligible to work in
- Background check is required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule: Monday – Friday and the occasional
- Must obtain “WHMIS” and “Working at Height” certificate within first 3 months of work
- Basic knowledge of email, app, and fill out forms
- Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies
- Takes initiatives and ability to attend to details and follow up
Physical requirements
- Bending, kneeling, and twisting, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Standing for extended periods of
- Continuous hand-eye coordination and manipulation of large and small objects to operate painting
